Growing up as a plussize tomboy, I don’t think anyone expected me to step into my feminine power the way that I did. And to be honest, sometimes even I’m shocked.
Buuut, even into my adulthood, I was way too shy to wear lingerie for anyone other than myself.
But lemme tell you, deciding to package your body in some beautiful lace, or any type of hot lingerie can add some intensity and passion in the bedroom and secretly be very empowering for you as a woman. Wearing lingeri
This Checked Duster from Shein had me lookin' and feeling' stylist at the local fair. I LIVE for a subtle dramatic flair, and this duster IS IT! It's long enough to sway and catch a breeze, which boosts the dramatic flair right up my alley! It's long sleeve, but still reasonably light. It's perfect as we transition into the Fall season. Summer time is my FAVORITE time of the year. One, because I'm a summer baby (VIRGO's stand up- August 24th in the house), and secondly and most importantly because the weather is amazing! The problem with the weather being amazing, and traveling....is how hard it is to stay on track with eating healthy and exercising. I know I'm not the only one who struggles during the summer time with this, or am I...??? Nah, I know I'm not the only one. Traveling and summer activities mak
I’ve never been to a ball before, so I was super excited to see that NYU was having a Military Ball- which meant I could invite my dad and mom 🎉 I was super excited for a few reasons: 1. To see them, duh! 2. To celebrate my dad’s military service 3. To dress up with my family and show school pride 4. “Are you really going to wear that?”
“People are going to think you’re begging for attention”
I think sometimes it's hard to admit that you need help, or continue to struggle with something that others assume you've fully overcome. Which is definitely how I feel sometimes about body positivity and body acceptance. Veronica (@houseofamparo) and I have been experiencing the beauty of Aruba for 5 days now. Our first night here, started off as an absolute dream. We went out to eat, shared a few drinks and laughs and decided to hit Gusto Night Club for dancing! The music s
I am SO happy that working out and curves are being used in the same sentence. When I first decided to become healthier (after being told I was prediabetic, had damaged my liver with alcohol and pinched a nerve in my back from having a weak core), I seriously felt alienated from the plus size community. It was like by choosing to eat better and exercising -- I was somehow viewed as a disgrace. It bothered me for a long time- a really long time; but when I began feeling better
