Bye bye Thigh-Chafing

As a tomboy, I never fancied dresses and skirts much. And as I got older, I also got bigger and noticed whenever I did decide to wear a dress or a skirt, my thighs would chafe and cause me a lot of discomfort. Needless to say, I pretty much crossed dresses and skirts off my list for every day wear and just saved them for special occasions or photo shoots.

Not too long ago, I was introduced to a company called Bandeletes. They are a company that has created pretty lace bands that go around your thighs to prevent chafing.

As you can imagine, I was fairly skeptical.

1) it’s pretty, most pretty things are uncomfortable (LOL, just being honest & speaking from my point of view)

2) I didn’t think the solution could possibly be this simple. A band to go around my thigh to solve this tale old problem??

Well, I was proved differently. While I was in Ghana for my 2nd trip, I had the pleasure of having 2 pairs of Bandalettes with me. A nude pie, and a black pair- these colors, like in bras, are essential must-haves!

Thanks to my Bandalettes, I was able to wear skirts and dresses during my trip without worrying about any thick thigh friction!  (keep scrolling to see some of the looks I wore Bandalettes with).

Some things you should know:

1. Measure your thigh accurately, on their site they have a chart with instructions.

2. I recommend sizing up .5-1 inch for comfort reasons.

3. Prepare to feel sexy

Are you operating out of Faith/Love, or Fear?

When you know better, you do better. But what about when you don’t know better? We don’t really talk about HOW we arrive at the knowledge of “doing better.” I guess that’s because hindsight is always
